the 65th Annual Far North Queensland Amateur Theatrical Association One Act Play Festival.

FNQATA One Act Play Festival 2022
at Bulmba-ja Arts Centre, from Sept 30 to Oct 2.
The FNQATA One Act Play Festival includes two nights of short one-act plays by performers from throughout our region supported by professional adjudication. The Festival includes loads of comedy, original plays by Tropical Arts playwrights, as well as creative and diverse world views.
Bulmba-ja Arts Centre’s, the Hungry Pitcher will open at 6pm for thirsty folk with the performances starting at 7pm on Friday 30th September and Saturday 1st October. Performance bookings are available through Try-booking.

Price: $15 per evening performance (not including booking fee)

FNQATA 2022 One Act Play Festival Program
The Festival combines performances with professional theatre training workshops designed for students as well as open workshops for anyone of any background or experience. These will be held on Friday, 30th September and Sunday 2nd October at Bulmba-ja Arts Centre, 96 Abbott St, Cairns.
One Act Play Festival Professional Theatre (Acting) Training Workshops:
Shakespeare Workshop
Date & Time: Friday Sept 30th ~ 9am to 3pm
Price: $20
Open-age Acting Skills Workshops
Date & Times: Sunday October 2 ~ 9am to 12pm and 12.30pm to 3.30pm
Price: $10 each session (morning or afternoon)

Audio-visual records are being made of the workshops. All workshop participants are requested to provide permission for them to be included in photographs and other recordings. Tropical Arts membership includes this permission. If you are not a member, please download and complete a Talent Release Form and get your parent/ legal guardian to sign if you are under 18 or as required. Please bring this form with you or pick one up at the workshop. We want to include everyone so please let us know if you cannot be in our photo’s.
